What is Direct Access?



As of January 1st, 2015, legislature has been passed to support Physical Therapists as first stop musculoskeletal primary care providers. State law allows patients to seek evaluation and treatment from a licensed physical therapist without a prescription or referral from a physician. Why waste time going to your primary care provider for back pain, when you can receive treatment and attain pain relief the same day! 

What billing or insurance information will I receive?



Patients typically receive an explannation of benefits, with appropriate charges applying to the insurance company. We keep an open line of communication with you as the patient, and will address any insurance questions you may have along the way.

How long will it take to get things settled with the insurance company?



We pride ourselves on the alacrity to settle all insurance needs in order to focus on you as the patient. Insurance information is typically obtained prior to your first session, and all insurance requirements are handled by us going forward. 



How many visits do I need, and will my insurance cover?​

​At Paramount, we continue treatment until you are pain-free and are able to return to enjoying your lifestyle. After our initial evaluation on your first day, your Physical Therapist will discuss the plan of care going forward, including exercises, manual techniques, home exercises, and approximate amount of sessions required to attain maximum recovery. We will continue to update your other healthcare providers throughout your care, as well as attain appropriate amount of visits from your insurance company.
